Ready to get started? Implementing our software and controlling your store is as easy as 1,2,3!

  1. Build your custom pricebook: We combine our common-item database with a customer-specific data file from your main grocery supplier. This custom database is then used to “Scan Verify” the store—using a scanning palm-style handheld device, one of each item in the store is scanned, the prices are confirmed and any items not on file are added quickly and easily.

  2. Within just a few hours, your software will be installed, you’ll be trained, and you’ll be scanning! The Scan Group installs the software remotely in less than an hour—the installation does not interrupt store operations. After the install is complete and your custom price book is loaded, you are trained on how to use the software (training generally takes less than two hours). At any point after training, the pricebook can be sent to the register and you can start scanning.

What minimum computer specs are required to run PRI*SCAN?

  • Windows 2000 (SP4), XP, Vista Business, Windows 7 (Pro or better recommended)
    (PRI*SCAN only runs under Windows)
  • Intel Pentium/Celeron 1.2Ghz  processor or better, 512 megs of RAM or better (1 gig+ for Vista/Windows 7)
  • 1.5 GHZ Processor
  • 40 - gigabyte hard drive
  • VGA video card with 2 megs of video memory
  • Modem or High Speed Internet connection
